Not a problem, you're cool. I never read it as commentary on sewing, but on how much cooler a gamer girl is than a non-gamer girl. I can't even get my wife to try the Sims. As far as playing MMO type games together...my only hope might be Puzzle Pirates.
Not that I'd change a thing about her. That's why we had kids, so I could have someone to play games with. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Because there are LADIES present. One more reason I enjoy playing the game with them. Plus they smell good.

That's slightly creepy.
It was fine up to the smelling part and then....well...
Personally all that comes out of my speakers is sound. Not rich enough for those fancy ones that transmit fragrance too.
And Eugart, nice avatar.

I cook lots of things and everything will be homemade if I can. Homemade mac n cheese, choco chip cookies that are so buttery and rich they melt in your mouth. I have recently mastered how to make peanut butter cups that are better than Reese's.
I got good reviews for them. :P
I can make a mean lasagna and grill up some nice burgers. I have a few tricks for burgers too to make em extra yummy...
I learned it all from my dad and I am not even 20 yet. So, there are SOME women that can cook.

hmm...sounds like my family almost..
but, this is the first mmorpg or anything that my mom has ever played. Computer games to her are tetris, solitaire, bejeweled and she won't play sims. She won't even touch console games...except for maybe casino ones. But she doesn't play those either.
Us kids, we play everything with my dad.

If I chose to correct you on this, it might surpass someone's cruelty threshold and I guess I'm not in an unforgiving enough mood for that today.
So, carry on.

But why does being a woman gamer mean anything. In the end I am interested in the group's success in a mission or PvP. Man or woman doesn't matter. How well do you work in a team is all I care about.

Alright, for the lowfat but still tasty version... replace butter and regular milk or cream with evaporated milk, 2 tsp. garlic sauteed in 1 Tbl of butter, and 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese (the crumbly cheese is better for you than the soft stuff). You can, if so desired, grate 1/4 c. extra sharp Cheddar over the top and toss it in the oven for 10 min at 400 (I don't know what the gas mark is for you Euros, sorry ). Don't use the prepackaged grated cheese, it contains cellulose to prevent clumping.
Not quite as rich but your physician will be happy.

I'd really like the d20 of Evil as my guild emblem, but since that's not a choice, we settled on the Fleur di Lis. I can't imagine the headache this would cause to implement and maintain, not to mention dealing with IP, but wouldn't it be cool if we could design our own emblems?

Guild Wars Player's Cookbook
Contents:
1. Devona's Deviled Eggs
2. Captain Osric's Omelets
3. Mhenlo's Healing Mac & Cheese
4. Cynn's Cinnamon Rolls, +1 Energy regeneration
5. Prince Rurik's Charr Stew of Fortitude
...etc
There's talk of a Guild Wars Grrrl Gamerz calendar in another thread. Maybe we could put together the Player's Cookbook?

Hello everyone. Just a friendly reminder to stay on topic. The off-topic forums is there, also, if you really do feel an overwhelming need to discuss cooking recipes in particular.

Well you have to have some skill to be able to make good use of the shotgun in Halo, because it is the most unreliable weapon in the game. Sometimes they could be sucking on the barrell and u can pull the trigger and barely even damage their shields, sometimes u could be like 20 steps away from them and jus randomly fire in their direction and kill them... Ok well it's not really that exaggurated but still, pretty unreliable. Anyway back to the topic at hand... I think I will inject my two cents into this whole thing, whether or not you think it is credible, you be the judge. Sometimes talking to a woman gamer is kind of refreshing, and not in the sense that a lot of you may think I am talking about. See, to go on a tangent, video games always have been, and prolly will be, somewhat of a staple in my life, and to know that there are some women out there that share the same interests as you can be reassuring that, because you play video games, you won't spend ur life alone in a one room apartment cranking to Hentai...
